Feminist Theology

Zara Ramaniah is a freelance writer, blogger, hiker, voracious reader and deeply interested in feminist, social and political issues. She has lived on three continents, has a thirst for knowledge and the desire to share her experiences with the world. Zara has spent most of her life in the Arabian Gulf but is currently living in Toronto, Canada. She was born into a Christian family and has not always been a practising Christian, but has returned to the Church. She is a member of St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, in Toronto. Having lived in a multi-cultural and multi-faith society her entire life Zara has a great respect for other religions and believes strongly in inter-faith harmony. A feminist, Zara is keenly aware of how history and the role of politics has affected the way in which society regards religion and the role it plays in the world we live. Inherently curious, Zara is studying the history of her religion. She is also particularly interested in the role religion plays in politics and how that has shaped society’s views about Christianity and the Church in Europe and North America.
